Getting here

If you are flying in from out of town you will want to land at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (confusingly located in Bloomington, MN). From there, if you'd like to avoid renting a car, a light rail line runs conveniently from the airport to downtown Minneapolis. With a bit of walking and the light rail you will be able to get between the airport, hotel, and the Campus Club.

The Blue Line picks up at both airport terminals. The hotel is located near the West Bank Station on the Green Line. The ceremony & reception are near the East Bank Station on the Green Line. You can transfer between the Blue Line and the Green Line at the Downtown East Station.

Get outside:

  • There are lots of walking paths along the Mississippi River near the venue and hotel
  • Visit St. Anthony Falls and the Stone Arch Bridge
  • Clock some outside time at Como Park and maybe stop in at the free zoo

Or stay inside if the weather's bad:

  • Science Museum of Minnesota - fun for all ages! Lots of hands-on exhibits, Omnitheatre for a science-y imax experience.
  • Explore the architecture of the Guthrie Theater, including the striking "Bridge to Nowhere"
  • Get some culture at the Minneapolis Institute of Art
  • Scrub away all that culture at the Mall of America (though we'll warn you now, it's not actually very exciting)
